Our group headed to Klækken hotel for this year’s PRIMA retreat, a three-day event running from 23-26 June. It was packed with research updates, short talks and a lively poster session. From our group, Emma presented an update on our lab’s ongoing research, and Cecilia held a short talk on using CRISPR-edited stem cells to build better therapies.
Hatice presented her poster on human HSPC engraftment in mouse models, and Sigrid also gave a flash talk on engineering T-cells with optimized TCR knock-in for enhanced tumor-killing capacity.
Beyond the science, we had some time to connect with the wider PRIMA community with activities such as a speed-dating networking session and a vibe-coding educational workshop. We ended the retreat with a cowboy-themed 🤠 dinner and party before heading back to Oslo!
