We attended the 12th annual Nordic EMBL Partnership meeting in Helsinki during 11th – 13th of September, 2023. Both Oline and Carolina had a poster, and Carolina was selected to give a flash talk titled “Clinical Translation of Optimized CRISPR Editing Protocols for Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases”.
There were many interesting lectures covering the topics of interest at the Nordic EMBL nodes such as neuro science, immunology and translational medicine. Oline and Carolina had the opportunity to meet other trainees in the first few days in the Young Investigators meeting and network with interesting people who work in similar fields throughout the conference.
They also got a chance to see the city of Helsinki and do a bit of sightseeing.
It was a great experience, and our group is looking forward to next year’s conference, which will be hosted here in Oslo. 😊
