Our group attended the NCMM 2024 Scientific Retreat

Our group participated in the NCMM Scientific Retreat again this year. It took place on the scenic Oslo Fjord in Norway, at the Oscarborg Festning (Oscarborg Fortress) on 3-4 June.

In addition to doing a group presentation, each of our teams – molecular biology, T cell and stem cell – presented their work in a very interesting and unorthodox way, which was met with enthusiasm by the audience.

Pavel and Shiva also presented their posters during the poster session and Pavel won the best poster prize!

Our group took part in a social event as well, which turned out to be very fun and competitive. We were divided into groups and had to complete 7 challenges consisting of tricky science questions, physical endurance and coordination, as well as team work. Britt and Monika were in the team that placed first, and Pavel and Shiva’s team placed second! 🙌

All in all, it was an excellent, fun and informative retreat, as usual. We cannot wait for the next one!
