Presentation at the 2021 CSHL meeting “Genome Engineering: CRISPR Frontiers”

We attended the 2021 Cold Spring Harbor meeting on Genome Engineering: CRISPR Frontiers.

The goal for the conference was to “foster fruitful and creative interactions between researches interested in applying these systems to genome engineering and related advances in a variety of organisms, together with scientists studying the basic biology of CRISPR and related bacterial defense systems.”

The conference was held virtually on 18-20 August, 2021 and consisted of oral sessions, a panel discussion as well as poster sessions.

Our PhD student, Ganna, gave an oral presentation on our lab’s research at the event!

I was given an amazing opportunity to present our group’s research at one of the most exciting conferences organized by the leading experts in the area such as Jennifer Doudna (University of California) and David Liu (Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT).

It was both a lot of fun as well as a responsibility to share with the CRIPSR community our lab’s latest progress! I have received a great many interesting questions from auditory, few of which sparked an interest for further scientific endeavors related to the project.
