Meet Anniken, Our New Research Intern at Haapaniemi Lab

We’re excited to welcome Anniken Solveig Matheson Sollano to the Haapaniemi Lab as our new research intern!

Anniken, who is based in the UK and has both Spanish and Norwegian roots, is currently pursuing a BSc in Biological Sciences. At the lab, starting from mid-September 2024, she will be working closely with Shiva and Frida on CRISPR gene editing of T cells, focusing on precise gene correction in STAT1 and CARMIL 2 diseases.

Outside of her scientific pursuits, Anniken enjoys horseriding and painting. 🐎 🎨

We’re thrilled to have her join the team and look forward to the great work we’ll achieve together!
