We’ve been awarded a Novo Nordisk Foundation grant

Towards the end of December 2024, we received a collaborative grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation as part of the Exploratory Interdisciplinary Synergy Programme.

This grant, totalling nearly 5 million DKK (approximately 7.5 million NOK), will be shared between our group here at the Center for Molecular Medicine Norway, and research groups at Aarhus University, in collaboration with Professor Duncan Sutherland and Associate Professor Lin Lin.

Our group will use the grant to advance stem cell research by developing systems that support hematopoietic stem cell viability and potential for gene editing therapies. This work combines expertise in nanotechnology, stem cell biology, and advanced analytical techniques to tackle challenges in treating diseases like leukemia and monogenic diseases.
