Our entire group from Haapaniemi Lab attended the PRIMA winter retreat at Dr. Holms Hotel in Geilo, Norway. The three-day event, held from 29–31 January 2025, was filled with engaging talks and workshops. Mohammad and Shiva from our group had the chance to deliver a two-minute pitch introducing their poster topic, followed by presenting during the poster session itself.
In the session “How I use AI,” Carolina shared insights on how AI tools support our daily work as researchers. It was a great talk and seemed useful for everyone.
Beyond the sessions, we also had time for fun activities. We had the chance to try downhill or cross-country skiing. Both were a lot of fun! Others took advantage of the hotel’s excellent spa facilities or explored Geilo’s beautiful natural surroundings.
